We're looking for an individual who is fascinated by the Software as a Service (SaaS) industry and eager to report on the latest trends, news, and innovations in this fast-growing sector.
As a Tech Journalist at EarlyNode, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, well-researched articles that will engage and inform our audience of tech enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, and investors.
Available Positions
1. Senior Journalist (Covering SaaS/Tech)- 100% remote - 3800 GHS/Month
2. Senior Newsletter Writer (Covering SaaS/Tech)- 100% remote - 3800 GHS/Month
Responsibilities:
- Research, write, and edit engaging articles on SaaS industry trends, company news, product launches, and funding announcements
- Attend industry events, conferences, and webinars to gather information and report on the latest developments
- Conduct interviews with industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and experts to provide unique insights and opinions
- Collaborate with the editorial team to develop compelling story ideas and contribute to the overall content strategy
- Cultivate relationships with key industry sources and maintain a strong presence on social media platforms
- Meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards and journalistic integrity
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in tech journalism, preferably with a focus on the SaaS industry
- In love with Tech/SaaS and the industry news
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent research and analytical skills to identify industry trends and develop comprehensive reports
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and content management systems
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for building relationships with sources and conducting interviews
