1). SAFETY OFFICER
Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a Safety Officer to join our growing Project team in Ahafo North.
Reporting to the HSEC Manager the Safety Officer will administer and implement HSE policies, plans, and procedures to mitigate risks, and safely deliver the project professionally in line with Company, Client, and industry requirements.

2). Cost- Controller
Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a Cost Controller to join our growing Project Services team in Yamfo, Ahafo North.
Reporting to the Project Cost Manager the Cost Controller will be responsible for assisting the Lead Project Controller in performing accurate, effective, and timely control of Project costs and accounting functions to produce deliverables in line with the Client’s and Project’s standard requirements

The Tasks/Role
- Assist in monitoring Project performance including costs, progress against schedule, and internal reviews to provide a transparent assessment of critical project performances.
- Assist in ensuring all the budgets; forecasts and cost commitments are produced efficiently to a high standard in line with Company, Client, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in evaluating project progress to ensure that it is meeting budgetary and deadline objectives. Recognize progress concerns and report immediately to the Project Managers to ensure projects are completed within both budgetary and schedule constraints.
- Assist in collating project cost reporting requirements by company and Client standards to a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
- Assist with the creation, implementation, and maintenance of Project Control Procedures and Processes, in particular cost control.
Skills/Experience/Expertise
- Coordinate inputs from various team members including engineering, procurement, contracts, project, and construction to establish detailed cost, man-hour controls, and schedule.
- Proactively support other team members as required to ensure Project deliverables are met.
- Liaise with and provide professional support to the Project Services team in the preparation of Project deliverables.
- Register and file all relevant project documentation by the Company approved procedures.
- Provide assistance in designated areas of expertise.

3). Planner
Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a Planner to join our growing Project Services team in Yamfo, Ahafo North.
Reporting to the Project Controls Manager the Planner will be responsible for assisting in executing and monitoring Project schedules to ensure Projects are professionally delivered in line with Project, Client, and Company requirements.
ROLES
- Assist in conducting periodic reviews of the Project Master Schedule baseline will be the forum for the Project team to report and review project progress. Contractual progress performance will be tracked and reported against the Project Master Schedule baseline.
- Assist in evaluating project progress to ensure that it is meeting budgetary and deadline objectives. Recognize, progress concerns and report immediately to the Project Managers to ensure projects are completed within both budgetary and schedule constraints.
- Co-ordinate progress meetings with key stakeholders and communicate any issues or concerns.
- Update and provide coordination of the various detailed sub-schedules from other contractors and consultants at regular intervals.
- Contribute to junior team members' professional development by providing consistent mentoring and identifying avenues of development.
Expertise/Skills/Experience
- Read and interpret all typical design deliverables such as flow sheets, P&ID drawings, equipment lists, and other data required to prepare and maintain a Project Schedule.
- Forecast and assess trends for accurate schedule maintenance and provide information that assists with project management goals.
- The Planner will be required to analyze the PMS and identify:
- Roles and Responsibilities assigned to activities
- Resource requirements
- Critical or scheduled risk tasks
- S curves – Progress, manning, commodities
- Contract strategies or opportunities.
