What you will be doing

  • SCRUM and Lean Product methodologies should be used to accelerate product delivery, maximize value, and ensure success.
  • Make the company's product vision and roadmap more clear.
  • Lean Product Development and SCRUM: Agile rituals include creating stories and tasks, maintaining the backlog, fostering team performance, boosting velocity, using tools for forecasting, like release reporting, matching delivery schedules, facilitating sprint planning, and more.
  • Work with the executive team and the chief product officer to synchronize product commitments with business goals.
  • Use or expand your understanding of the web3, crypto, and blockchain markets to keep track of the competition and market segmentation.
  • Utilize this research to your advantage to improve the product target and the company's path to market fit.
  • Keep in constant communication with the engineering, cryptography, and research teams to obtain insights and match R&D priorities with product directions (and vice versa).

About the team

In a nutshell, half of us work as software engineers, and the other half as math and cryptography experts. Our brand-new headquarters are in Boston, Massachusetts, in the United States, and we ship goods everywhere.

What we want to see

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a STEM discipline; it would be very advantageous if you also had experience in leadership, business management, or marketing.
  • prior knowledge of distributed systems theory, software engineering, or related fields.
  • A minimum of three years experience working as a technical product manager and/or product owner using agile methodologies like SCRUM, lean product development, or something similar.
  • Working knowledge of graphing, charting, or comparable tools (such as burn-up/burn-down/release reporting) for Agile projects, such as Linear, Jira, Zenhub+GitHub, or similar.
  • Experience in successfully launching products on the market.
  • Experience, a thorough understanding of, and a keen interest in the web3/blockchain business.
  • Businessperson's mentality.
  • Dedication to providing great value.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities.

Purpose of the job

The environment of Topos is actively being developed. By carefully defining its aim and overseeing its delivery, you will be responsible for driving the design and improvement of the company's product. Driving the product vision, comprehending customer demands, the value proposition, and stakeholder value for the features and functionalities of the product are all necessary for this. In addition, the role oversees lean product development activities such as backlog grooming and SCRUM planning for collaboration with various software engineering teams.


Candidates with experience using the SCRUM or lean product methodology as technical product owners, particularly in the web3/crypto/blockchain space, are best suited for this position. You can contribute your skills and experience and develop along with the group.

Please take note that this product is extremely technical, so for a technical product owner to succeed in this position and comprehend the user story implications and acceptance criteria, a technical background in programming, software engineering, distributed systems, and/or a thorough knowledge of blockchain projects and bridging is required.

Additionally, this position will collaborate closely with marketing to support and guarantee alignment with go-to-market strategies.
