The role you will play
Senior-level executives and other important decision-makers must be persuaded to purchase Aiven's PaaS by our account executives. Building relationships with technical and executive contacts throughout an organization is required for this.
By demonstrating how Aiven's open-source managed data services effectively and efficiently enable software development teams to significantly improve time to market, while keeping prices in line with budget expectations, this role will be responsible for challenging customers' present working methods.
Candidates who are selected must gain a thorough understanding of the Aiven solution, the market and political environment, as well as the ecosystem of partners in their area.
What you will do
- By locating and vetting prospects, you can open new accounts while also boosting earnings from your current clientele.
- Maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities large enough to meet and exceed monthly revenue targets by working cooperatively with Solution Architects and Sales Development Representatives.
- By effectively controlling the sales processes, you can provide business forecasting that is precise and predictable.
- Utilize excellent presentation and negotiation abilities to close sales possibilities. Bring experience and confidence when presenting and closing business to the VP and C-Level.
- Prepare proposals, reply to RFPs, and provide sales presentations to potential clients.
What we are looking for.
- Three or more years of expertise in complex solution sales
- A history of consistently exceeding revenue targets
- Ability to work well in a team environment Knowledge of the cloud, SaaS, data infrastructure, and/or DevOps
- Proven ability to increase pipeline volume through prospecting.
- Proven track record of selling to development and/or product organizations
