About the job:

 The job requires a licensed pediatrician to examine, treat, and aid in the prevention of diseases and their complications in children. Responsibilities

 

• Conduct thorough newborn and young child examinations regularly to verify and document their health and normal physical development.


• Examine sick children to figure out what's wrong with them and ask intuitive questions to learn about their symptoms.


• Make an accurate diagnosis based on the patient's medical history and current scientific knowledge.

Prerequisites and abilities


• Confirmed Pediatrician with Ghana School of Doctors and Specialists


• Licensure: Current registration with the Medical and Dental Council as a medical practitioner in Ghana.


Extensive knowledge of diagnostic, treatment, and rehabilitation principles and techniques; up-to-date knowledge of drugs and medication appropriate for children and their side effects; familiarity with traditional and web-based prescription systems; active listening, patient, and calm; outstanding diagnostic and problem-solving abilities; and proven experience as a pediatrician.
