Job Description
- Will carry out preventive maintenance of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning equipment and systems.
- Will repair faulty Refrigeration and Air Conditioning equipment and Plant.
- Carry out routine checks and logs of the status of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning equipment.
- Requisition for materials required for the smooth operation of the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning equipment.
- Will assist in the verification of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning spares purchased/supplied.
- Will ensure that the Air Conditioning system is ON at the right time.
- Trouble-shoot Air Conditioning equipment malfunctions, diagnose problems, and perform maintenance on Refrigeration & Air Conditioning equipment.
- Will manage the safety of the Air Conditioning Plant rooms and workshops.
- Will make recommendations to replace equipment if the expected cost to repair exceeds the possible replacement cost.
- Will perform regular cleaning of the equipment.
- Will maintain job worksheets detailing the nature of the assignment, parts utilized, time expended, and type of work performed.
- Will collect data for reports
