 The Boston University invites applications all over the world for the Trustee Scholarship for Undergraduate Students in the USA for 2022/2023.



Every year, BU welcomes approximately 20 outstanding students to the Trustee Scholars Program. Boston University is a private research university located in Boston, Massachusetts. The university is nonsectarian but is historically affiliated with the United Methodist Church. Many of its current scholars had perfect 4.0-grade point averages in high school and ranked in the top of their class.


BENEFITS OF SCHOLARSHIP:

1. The Trustee Scholarship covers full undergraduate tuition. 

2.  A mandatory undergraduate student fees, and is renewable for four years if certain criteria are met.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

  • Applicants should make sure they demonstrate viewpoints, experiences, or achievements expected. 
  • Applicants should be extraordinarily well-rounded individuals.

HOW TO APPLY FOR THIS SCHOLARSHIP:

To apply for this scholarship,

        1. Submit the Common or Coalition Application and all required materials for admission to one of the undergraduate degree programs at university.


       2. Complete the Trustee Scholarship essay on the Common or Coalition Application as part of your application to the University.



THE SCHOLARSHIP ESSAY TO BE SUBMITTED:

Below are the topics to write your essays on :

Please choose from one of the two prompts below and submit one essay maximum of 600 words or less together with your application through the Common or Coalition Application.


      1. Howard Thurman, who was the dean of BU’s Marsh Chapel from 1953-to 1965, once wrote: “Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.” Can you describe a particular experience you have had or an activity that you participate in that makes you come alive? How would you try to integrate that experience or activity into your time at Boston University?

       2. Describe a time when you felt out of your comfort zone or marginalized in a situation. How did you respond to that moment and how has it informed your actions moving forward?
