Number Of Students WAEC Cancels and Blocked Their Results
The long awaited results of WASSCE 2022 students has been finally released and this is an important update from WAEC to students.
The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) announces of cancelling and blocking results of many students who sat for the 2022 WASSCE exams which ended in September 2022.
The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) announces that, about 3000 students results has been cancelled and a total number of over 8000 students results has been withheld as a result of examination malpractices during the exams.
WAEC declares that, the cancellation and the blocking of the 3000 and 8000 results of students respectively is as a result of malpractices undertaken by students during the WASSCE examination in September 2022.
Some students also indulge themselves in the destruction of School properties in their various Senior High Schools or institutions.
As a result, WAEC was asked to penalize these students for indulging in such a criminal act.
WAEC further stated that, Students whose results has been withheld may or may not be released later prior to further investigation and thorough checks .
WAEC further congratulates all students all over the 16 regions of Ghana who sat for this year's exams. And that, they are proud of all those who have been able to make it with flying colours. Those who are not able to make it still have chances to better their results.
